Exhibition “Germany 8 -- German Art in China” Opens in Beijing

The opening ceremony of the exhibition titled “Germany 8 -- German Art in China” was held at the Royal Ancestral Temple in Beijing on September 17. About 320 sets of art works created by 55 German artists will be exhibited, among which many are contemporary masterpieces.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition titled “Germany 8 -- German Art in China” was held at the Royal Ancestral Temple in Beijing on September 17. Luo Shugang, Minister of China’s Ministry of Culture, and Sigmar Gabriel, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Vice Chancellor of Germany, inaugurated the ceremony. This seven-part exhibition will be held from mid-September to October 31 in many art institutes including the Royal Ancestral Temple, CAFA Art Museum, Beijing Minsheng Art Museum, Red Brick Art Museum, Today Art Museum, Yuan Art Museum, and Whitebox Art Center. About 320 sets of art works created by 55 German artists will be exhibited, among which many are contemporary masterpieces.
