A Thai business and trade delegation visited Quzhou, Zhejiang province, from Oct. 17 to 19, aiming to promote economic and trade cooperation between the two sides.

The delegation, led by Qi Xiaoyun, a member of the Board of Directors of the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and president of the Thai Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce, visited the Quzhou High-Tech Industrial Development Zone and several local listed companies involved in new materials, new energy, and pharmaceuticals.

During the meeting, Qi introduced the economic and social development of Thailand and highlighted the significant potential for cooperation between Quzhou and Thailand in sectors such as high technology, new energy, new materials, and machinery manufacturing.

He said that this exchange and dialogue presented an excellent opportunity to establish a more extensive cooperation platform, fostering increased economic and trade interactions as well as cultural exchange between the two sides. Qi said he hopes that the Thai Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce could offer support and services to Quzhou companies as they pursue international development.

The Thai Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce, established in 2019, has played a major role in strengthening economic and trade as well as cultural exchange between Zhejiang and Thailand.
